I am a big fan of herbs. Yesterday I was shopping at Tesco’s in Sale, Manchester which I am visiting. I needed thyme. I looked everywhere and could not find it. So I just got my paper, The Guardian. At the check-out I asked if they had thyme, pointing at my watch saying, Not this type of time. Of course we do, I was told, it would have been next to The Guardian.
