There was a man who lived in Gaza city, and one day, in the market he saw a figure in a black hood staring at him. He quickly understood that it was Death and deduced that he had come for him. So he ran home, and saw a crowd on the way, and was told they were going to Khan Yunis. It was a sign from Allah, he thought, telling me to go to Khan Yunis. When he arrived there, he found himself in the market, and lo and behold, he recognised Death, who smiled at him. And Death approached him, and engaged him in conversation.
