The word “embiggen” has made it into the Merriam-Webster! Remember the episode? Its meaning is self-evident.
As a fan of the series, I am delighted. I have always thought that it was one of the most original programs on television, and to me, this is like an Oscar being given to it.
The word was first used in the episode entitled Lisa the Iconoclast. By Jebediah Springfield, the founder of the town.
